My name is Odeh Ahwal, and I’m the mastermind behind eSideHustles; the directory that’s here to help you increase your bottom line and enhance your finances so you can just live your best life!
This is my sweet love and charming wife; Reina. In 2016, I slid into her DMs on Instagram, and the rest is history. We got married on the same day 5 years later.
I’ve got a degree in Finance and Banking, but don’t let that fool you. I’m not your typical number-crunching, spreadsheet-loving finance guy, no way! I’ve always hated to be ruled and controlled!
During and post my studies, I tried different jobs and experienced many people. One of the many jobs that I got stuck with for a fairly long time was bartending. I worked as a bartender for over 5 years straight!
Deep down inside, I always felt that I was meant for something bigger and hated the fact that I was trading my precious time for money.
Until one day, I decided to draw a line in the sand and said enough is enough. I’m not working for anyone else anymore. I’m gonna work for myself, build something for myself, set my own rules, my own schedules, everything.
Stability, control, and freedom of all levels were just the dream…
You know, they always say “Think outside the box“, well… I don’t know what the box even is! I have never liked ordinary things and never accepted being average. Lucky me, I see an opportunity in everything and I like taking risks. I mean, what’s life without taking risks?
I even once decided to open a fast-food restaurant, yeah, you heard that right. I was slinging burgers and fries like nobody’s business. Unfortunately, things didn’t quite work out, and I ended up losing 35 grand. But hey, you know what they say: You either win or you learn.
I’m not one to give up easily, though. I absorbed it right away and started looking for the next thing! That’s life… Not too long after, I stumbled across some YouTube videos that talk about making money online and the different money-making opportunities and business models.
From dropshipping and eCommerce to affiliate marketing and blogging, and everything in between. I tried it all, and I’ve almost lost my shirt trying to figure things out and was literally drowning in YouTube videos, ideas, and different side hustles.
Today, it’s been 8 years straight since I’ve been creating a living online and since I’ve last worked for someone else. Thanks to the internet and to everything it’s offering today!
Now, I know what you’re thinking. “Odeh, you’re a finance guy. You must be super boring.” Well, hold on to your hats, folks, because I’m about to blow your mind. I’m actually hilarious, like comedy gold. Just ask my friends.
But all joking aside, I’m really passionate about helping people, that’s why I started eSideHustles (and many other similar busiensses) in the first place. I truly hate to see people struggling with money, and I believe that everyone deserves to live their best life.
